1967 Dodge Charger Was Born With a Rare Engine, but It's All Bad News Under the Hood

Introduced for the 1966 model year, the Dodge Charger was originally a fancied-up mid-size car with a fastback roofline and a premium, four-seat interior. This configuration lasted until 1968, when slow sales determined Dodge to redesign the Charger into a more traditional muscle car.
