In 1968, Pontiac sold over 87,000 GTOs, representing a 7% increase from the previous year. But Pontiac still wanted a piece of the affordable muscle car market, created by the introduction of the Plymouth Road Runner and Dodge Super Bee. In 1969, Pontiac unleashed the GTO Judge.
