The annual ‘Sardine Run’ is a natural phenomenon that showcases the vast migration of millions of sardines off the Agulhas bank in South Africa. During their two-week expedition, the team, which included shark expert Meaghan McCord, conducted sampling and shark-tagging to be used in on-going population ecology studies.
