The expedition team will navigate the South American Andes in a specially modified Land Rover Defender. The vehicle, modified by Land Rover’s SVO team, is the world’s first mobile volcano observatory and will allow the team to investigate volcanic gas emissions along the Nazca tectonic plate which runs from Peru to the southern tip of Chile.
