BMW says it is committed to U.S. SUV plant, sees trade wars as temporary

BMW, which ships SUVs to China from its plant in the U.S., says the tensions surrounding a U.S. trade war with China will play a secondary role in decisions on where it makes cars, despite a punitive 40 percent tariff on the exports since July.
