Chevy Camaro to get Corvette’s seven-speed manual?
Auto Guide found a California Air Resource Board (CARB) document that pairs the 6.2-liter engines in the 2019-model-year Chevrolet Camaro and Corvette with their respective transmissions. In the “Trans Type” column, the two Corvettes get listed with both “M7” and “SA8” gearboxes — representing General Motors‘ TR-6070 seven-speed manual and 8L90 semi-automatic eight-speed auto.
