China set to dominate as electric vehicle battleground for decades

Automakers such as Volkswagen Group and Tesla cannot afford to lose focus in China as it looks set to remain the world’s No. 1 market for electric vehicles as sales are expected to reach 2 million units next year, after topping 1 million for the first time in 2018, Bloomberg said.
