Convoys of ‘self-driving’ trucks are heading to U.K. roads
The U.K. is gearing up to test small convoys of self-driving trucks on its major highways, with the first trials slated for 2018. It’s hoped that both emissions and congestion can be eased by driving the trucks in “platoons.”
