Daimler’s Q3 profit falls 14% on diesel costs

Daimler’s profit slumped 14 percent to 3.46 billion euros ($4.1 billion) in the third quarter as earnings at the Mercedes unit dropped on costs to fix the emissions systems of older diesel cars.
