Daimler’s Uber rival expands into Romania

Mytaxi, Daimler’s Germany-based ride-hailing app, is expanding into eastern Europe. Daimler and rivals are investing in ride-hailing companies to ensure they do not become providers of low-margin commoditized hardware to companies such as Uber.
