EU could clinch trade deal with U.S. this year, commissioner says

EU Trade Commissioner Cecilia Malmstrom says she expects European governments to give her the go-ahead next month to start trade negotiations with the U.S. that include averting tariffs on cars, and expects a deal could be achieved before year-end.
