For now, Tesla notches win in its direct-sales fight with GM

At least for now, Indiana lawmakers have decided the fate of HB 1254, a bill that aimed to end Tesla’s direct sales of electric vehicles in the state in 2018. Instead of voting on it (as they did 92-3 during a reading of the bill in early February), they sent the bill to a “summer study” session.
