Ford hybrid vans will be ‘geofenced’ in London cleaner air trial

Plug-in hybrids are seen as a compromise ahead of EVs in helping to create zero-emissions zones in cities. Ford and Transport for London are testing geofencing as a way to ensure hybrid cars only run on electric power in city centers.
