Ford reports best quarterly profit ever of $2.7B

Things are looking up in Dearborn, where Ford just announced (PDF link) it quarterly financial results. Not only did the Blue Oval automaker record the best quarterly results in its history, but it more than doubled its global earnings compared to the same period last year.
