French 2017 sales rise nearly 5% but diesel share falls below 50%

French registrations rose by nearly 5 percent in 2017, led by increases of more than 10 percent at Seat, Toyota, Skoda and Kia. The market share of new diesel cars fell below 50 percent last year for the first time since 2000.
