Germany to offer 4,000 euro subsidy to boost EV sales

Germany announced a plan today to invest about 1 billion euros ($1.13 billion) to promote electric cars, which will include subsidies of 4,000 euros for buyers of EVs and 3,000 euros for those choosing to purchase a plug-in hybrid.
