GM and UAW have tentative deal for new contract

Just days after announcing General Motors as its next negotiating partner, the United Auto Workers and the automaker have a tentative, four-year contract ready. The details of the deal still aren’t known, and they won’t be released until after the UAW National GM Council vote on Wednesday in Detroit.
