GM names Mary Barra chairman of the board

General Motors CEO Mary Barra can now add yet another title to her resume – chairman of the board of directors for the biggest of Detroit’s carmakers. She’s also the first woman to hold the position, much as she was when she was named CEO nearly two years ago.
