Iconic Woodward Avenue could become more walkable

Detroit’s Main Street, the iconic Woodward Avenue, is already undergoing extensive changes in the city’s downtown area as a light rail project gets underway. Now, if a local group of concerned citizens gets its way, significant changes could make the street friendlier for pedestrians.
