LG said to supply gesture-reading tech for Mercedes

LG Electronics is supplying Mercedes with a motion-detection system that can read a driver’s gestures to control some automobile functions, sources said. BMW has already deployed a similar system in its 7 series using technology from Softkinetic Systems.
