Mercedes-Benz to drop V6 engines in favor of new inline-sixes

As much as some of us would like to think otherwise, building cars is a business. In order to cut down on variations and streamline production processes, Mercedes-Benz told a roundtable of journalists this week that the company would be dropping V6 engines in favor of inline-sixes.
