Flying cars are being explored as a viable form of transportation by a number of people and groups. To be fair, when someone refers to a flying car nowadays, they’re usually referring to a small vertical-takeoff-and-landing (VTOL) aircraft, and not necessarily something that would be able to take advantage of both the skies and the highway.
