NASCAR’s France family withdraws bid for Laguna Seca

It appears that the campaign to keep the International Speedway Corporation from taking control of Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca may have worked. At least, that is, for the time being. According to the latest report from Monterey, CA, the corporation has withdrawn its interest from the prospect of assuming responsibility for the legendary racing circuit.
