Piech queried Winterkorn on VW scandal, paper says

Former VW Group Chairman Ferdinand Piech tried unsuccessfully to query ex-CEO Martin Winterkorn about the automaker’s emissions scandal a month before the two had a public falling out, a German newspaper reported.
