Range Rover Sport – Terrain-Based Speed Adaption Research
Part of Land Rover’s research into autonomous off-road capability, Terrain-Based Speed Adaption (TBSA) uses cameras to sense uneven and undulating surfaces, flat roads, potholes and standing water. It is capable of processing information and predicting the potential impact of these surfaces on the car’s ride, automatically adjusting speed to keep passengers comfortable.
