When it comes to classic cars from the 1950s, I'm a big fan of orphan brands. I usually favor rigs with Hudson, Studebaker, and Packard badges, but a certain Mercury model is also high on my list. I'm talking about the Turnpike Cruiser, a land yacht few people remember.
