Renault-Nissan alliance must be strengthened, Macron says

French President Emmanuel Macron offered a political boost to the fraught partnership between Renault and Nissan during a visit to Japan, calling for their alliance to be strengthened. He also said former Nissan boss Ghosn should be presumed innocent until proven guilty and given the right to defend himself.
