Owners of Rivian R1 EVs equipped with LFP battery packs reported that their vehicles have a problem with range calculation when the state of charge drops below 20%. This could lead to loss of power and people being stranded when the battery drops suddenly. Rivian is aware of this issue and promised that a fix is in the works.
