Small German city challenges nation’s automakers on diesel pollution

Wiesbaden, a leafy city in Frankfurt’s commuter belt, is opening a new front in the battle against vehicle pollution after a court ordered the state government to clean up diesel exhaust fumes by September or face a fine.
