Sturgis motorcycle rally may have resulted in a quarter-million new COVID cases

An analysis of new coronavirus cases from the final weeks of August and first week in September suggests that the Sturgis motorcycle rally in South Dakota in August could have spawned as many as a quarter-million new COVID-19 cases — or 19% of the total new cases reported across the United States since the event was held.
