On September 30, Tesla opened the Model Y Performance order books in the US, although deliveries would not start until December. However, the sporty crossover will be worth the wait, as Tesla confirmed a surprising new feature: bi-directional charging support. So far, it's unclear whether this will be offered on more Tesla models in the future.
