Much of the news about Tesla lately has focused on the company’s struggles to increase the speed of production of its new Model 3 sedan. Elon Musk has famously characterized the car as being “deep in production hell,” and the company has had to push back its target of building 5,000 units per week by three months after revealing it made only 260 of the mass-market sedans during the third quarter.
