Tesla factory is producing Model S, Model X at a rate of 2,000-plus per week

Tesla promised 2,000 cars produced per week by the end of Q2 2016. It hit that goal at least two weeks early, which bodes well for Model 3 reservations. To fulfill orders and keep up with Model S and X, Tesla needs to make 500,000 cars in 2018.
