Tesla Model 3/Y Standard Lack a Critical Feature, and the Internet Is Divided About It

Tesla removed more than people thought from the Model 3 and Model Y Standard EVs. Specifically, these base trims ship without hardware TPMS sensors. They rely on ABS/ESP sensors to warn when a tire is flat, and the Internet is divided about that. Some like it because this simplifies seasonal tire changes, while others see it as an extreme cost-cutting measure.
