Tesla will double its worldwide Superchargers this year

Tesla will double the number of its Superchargers worldwide this year as the California-based electric vehicle maker prepares to start deliveries of its Model 3 sedan. Specifically, Tesla will boost its number of Superchargers to more than 10,000 by the end of the year from about 5,000 at the end of 2016, including adding more than 1,000 Superchargers in California alone, the company said in a blog post on Monday.
