The boring definition of the term seaglider talks about a type of wing-in-ground-effect (WIG) maritime vessel that can move at high speeds on the water and above it, thanks to both hydrofoils and wings. The world will probably get to know it as one of the coolest means of transportation around, thanks to a Rhode Island-based company called Regent.
