Toyota may mass-produce long-range EVs, report says

Toyota is looking at mass-producing electric vehicles, the Nikkei newspaper reported, in what would be a dramatic reversal of strategy for the automaker, which has always favored hybrids and fuel-cell vehicles in the race to make greener cars.
