Toyota, Panasonic consider joint development of EV batteries

Toyota and Panasonic are considering jointly developing batteries for EVs, a partnership that could help the Japanese automaker in its late bid to begin EV production after concentrating on plug-in hybrid and fuel-cell vehicles.
