Introduced in 1968 as Plymouth's entry-level muscle car, the Road Runner took off and sold over 80,000 units in 1969. In 1970, however, dropped below the 37,000-example mark. Although not a rare bird by overall production numbers, the 1970 series spawned a few scarce gems.
