UK seeks to lead world in autonomous and electric vehicles

The UK government plans to invest more than 800 million pounds ($1 billion) in new driverless and zero-emission vehicle technology as it seeks to become a ‘leader’ in technologies it believes may be worth 28 billion pounds to the economy by 2035.
