The Volkswagen Group of America has identified an issue affecting 2025 and 2026 models from the Volkswagen and Audi brands. In these vehicles, the front seatbelt retractor torsion bars may have been damaged by a sub-supplier due to component jamming in the ball feeder mechanism.
