Polestar has made clear its intention to challenge Tesla’s early leadership in the fledgling niche for full-electric premium midsize cars. Its first model, the Polestar 2, will launch next year as a direct challenger to the Tesla Model 3, as CEO Thomas Ingenlath explained to Automotive News Europe.
