VW CEO Mueller blunders by blaming emissions rigging on ‘technical problem’

VW Group CEO Matthias Mueller told a U.S. radio station that the automaker “didn’t lie” to regulators about rigging emissions tests and the issue was instead caused by “a technical problem.”
