VW gets approval to fix rigged 1.6-liter diesel engines

VW Group has received regulatory approval for technical fixes on models with 1.6-liter diesel engines, the automaker said today. This will allow the company to recall another 2.6 million cars affected by its diesel-emissions scandal in Europe.
