VW may cut 2,500 jobs a year to reduce costs, labor leader tells paper

VW Group may cut up to 2,500 jobs a year by moving workers into early retirement, the Handelsblatt newspaper reported, citing Bernd Osterloh, the automaker’s top labor leader.
