ZF profit gets earnings boost from transmission sales to fund investments

ZF said randd costs for electric- and autonomous-car technologies would remain high after it posted a 4.5 percent rise in adjusted earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) for 2017, boosted by transmission sales.
